How to Play
1. Registration
Register with a nickname and password.
Chose a nice name or we will let you win a few rounds, then delete your account and distribute your StockDollars ($SD) to the needy members of the community. In other words: Behave yourself. Please.
On top, please chose a password that is strong enough and that you can remember. If you forgot it, please use the "Retrieve password"-option on the log-in screen of the game. If you lost your email-address under which you signed on, then there is no way at all to provide you your user or password.
2. Playing
Playing is actually very simple.
There are several bets running at any time. Bets are of three different kinds:
- Normal Bet
You can bet on a winner or on a draw. Some normal bets do not offer a draw outcome. You win, if you have bet on the right choice (like e.g. the stock that gained most in a given period of time). - Set Amount
The Amount that is to be wagered is set, e.g. 100 $SD. We might use these kind of bets from time to time. - Compulsory Bet
Taking part in these bets is compulsory. These bets cannot be skipped if you bet at the same time on other bets and want to win. This will be very rarely used but there are occasion we will need this betting type.
Each trading day, after close of North American Markets, we set the outcome of each bet and announce a winner. The winners get notified by mail and can claim there winnings after logging in.
3. Winning a Bet
If there is more than one betwinner, we will draw the final winner from all betwinners. Only the final winner will receive the prize.
4. AVIP and VIP Bets
AVIPs (Almost Very Important Persons ;)) and VIPs are usergroups consisting of some of the best and most engaged players on mystockbet.com. Once you reach that level, you will reveive an invitation by us and then join those clubs.
AVIPs and VIPs get special bets and special prizes.
4. StockDollars aka $SD
StockDollars aka $SD are the virtual currency used for playing.
If you run out of them, well, ask on shoutbox if someone donates you some. If you are desperate, write me an email to "sr at mystockbet.com" and I may send you some, just because you were nice enough to read this text until its very end
