Overall Stock Market Betting Week: Hello. Don’t worry that we had no new bets and announcement for the past couple of days but as the flu struck we were out of business for the last days and tied to the bed. All remaining bets have been analysed today and winners have been announced and notified.
However, we will have some significant changes taking effect from today on and I want to elaborate on these changes a bit further:
Daily Bets: From today, we will no longer maintain bets on a daily basis. The reason for doing so is, that we feel unsatisfied with the overall number of users participating. As we do not know the reason, we will have to do some tests in order to gain knowledge what we can do to improve the level of participation. The first action we will therefor take is, to cancel the daily bets as this probably confused too many people. We also might have passed chances to get ore people interested in a single bet. This change is effective immediately.
Number of Betters: We understand, that there is a conflict to tell other people about this site as fewer members raise the winning chance for each individual. But as we made this site to enjoy the company of fellow stock betters, we have to balance the incentive of having high chances to win out against having lots of participating players. So, we have decided, that each weekly bet has to have at least 20 active betters on it, in order to be eligible for payout. This change means, that you should tell your friends about this site and the opportunity to win $25 in order to get any chance at winning at all. We know that this is a tough decision, but as said: we enjoy company and that means lots of it.
